Happy New Year! I hope you have all had a festive holiday season, and are keenly looking forward to going back to work. No?
Then I may have a solution for you.
Before I go further I should add that this mailing is a one-off New Year mailing. The regular Stay Focussed newsletter, with more photography tips and tricks will be sent out, as always, around the middle of the month.
This short email is to highlight two new-ish areas of digital-photography-tips.net.
- First, take four minutes to read My Story. It’s how I got digital-photography-tips.net on the internet.
Why am I sharing this with you? If you are getting those post-Christmas/New Year blues then maybe building your own website is just what you need. You can build it around your passions, and make a little money from it too.
Some people go so far as quitting their day job and make money from their website. I do it as a hobby, but the sky really is the limit!

- Got a photo from your travels? Go to the travel photography - contributions page and share it with the world!
- Have a photo or two that you know could be great, but you’re just not sure how to improve it? Go to the digital photography tutorials - contributions form and let us critique your work!
- Do you remember your first digital camera? Share your history of digital photography with us. What camera was it? How many megapixels? What was good/bad about it?
